Where is Barrington Bank Inc physically located?

Barrington Bank Inc holds a license to conduct international banking business on the island of Antigua pursuant to Section 203 of Antigua's International Business Corporations Act of 1982.
Our office is located in the most developed area of the island - Woods Centre.

The address of the office is: #2-3-4 office, Woods Centre, Friars Hill Road, St. John's, Antigua, W.I.

The Bank is open on weekdays from 08.00 to 16.00 local time.

Can Barrington Bank Inc provide me with a credit or debit card for my convenience?

Barrington Bank issues debit cards:  Maestro. You may apply for any of the cards and even link a number of cards of different types to your current account.

I want to know Bank’s financial and corporate data. How can I get them?

The newest audited annual report and financial results are available on our web site at Financial Reports . Current financial data is also available on request via e-mail.

How to set up an account without coming to the Bank?

Use Barrington Bank Inc  Application Center for filling in online forms for account opening and get additional instructions. A filled set of application forms has to be printed out, signed and mailed to the Bank's address. We recommend courier mail (FedEx, DHL, etc.) to ensure proper and fast delivery. It usually takes 3-5 working days to process and verify your application. A customer service manager may contact you to confirm some details and you may also take the initiative to contact the Bank. How to operate my account remotely? Can I operate my account via the Internet?

We offer a whole set of remote banking tools to operate your account. You can monitor your account via Banking Online logging on with your private or dynamic digipass password and also manage the account with digipass or Test Table Key. Certanly you may instruct us traditionally by fax or encrypted e-mail messaging. For secured/encrypted e-mail you can download our pgp public keys .

What is the minimum deposit required to maintain in my account? What is the opening fee?

Though there is no minimum deposit or balance imposed on current accounts (with savings accounts it is US$10,000.00) the monthly maintenance fee of UDS 10.00 would be charged if average balance of all client's accounts is less than USD 1,000.00. The opening fee is USD 200.00 for personal account  and USD 200.00 for corporate one. This fee does include delivery of account items (normally FedEx or DHL). What does Barrington Bank Inc mean by multicurrency account?
Is Barrington Bank Inc going to exchange all my funds into the local currency (Eastern Caribbean Dollar)?

In no case do we apply forced conversion of funds incoming in favour of our clients into Eastern Caribbean Dollars or any other currency, unless specifically ordered by the client. The multicurrency feature of the account means supporting the balances in different currencies within the same account and the possibility to pay and accept payments in any currency Barrington Bank deals with. How can I deposit funds to my account?

We recommend that you make a wire transfer to deposit funds to your account. No charge for incoming wire transfers is applied. You may find wire transfer details here  or contact the Bank to get the proper account details for specific currencies.

Can I send cheques or money orders for cashing into my account?

At the moment we are unable to accept checks for clearance.

Am I paid interest on my accounts with the bank?

We pay interest on different types of accounts for corporate clients and personal holders. See our Fees and Commissions  for current terms and rates.

How will I know what my current account balance is?

The most convenient and efficient way to monitor your balances and statements is by using our  Banking Online Service . You may request for document confirmation to be sent by fax, mail and/or e-mail. Please note: we charge USD 5.00 for each fax sent overseas.

How can I withdraw cash from my account?

The best way to withdraw cash is to use your debit/credit cards at any ATM worldwide. 
Wherever you visit sunny Antigua you are welcome to visit our office. You may withdraw cash from your account  at the Bank's office during our working hours. Please make sure you have your ID with you.

Is my account data going to be reported to any third parties?

All transactions and business affairs of clients are confidential and disclosure of any information related to the client is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment and penalty. Nevertheless  we will disclose information if forces by Low to provide information when served with an order of the High Court of Antigua and Barbuda in connection with a criminal offence triable in Antigua and Barbuda.
